Home Depot Day

Every 1st Saturday is "Home Depot Day" for kids in Key West.  I'm not sure if they do this in every Home Depot store all over the country, but it's a big hit Key West.

At this monthly event - you'll find dozens of busy children:         -

• hammering,

• building, and

• painting

Home Depot provides tools, and kits (a different project kit each month).  While supplies last kid work aprons are provided that children reuse, and at future visits.  Souvenir project pins can be collected.

Collecting pins on aprons reminds me of Hard Rock suspenders full of collector pins from various Hard Rocks around the world.
