Join the Coral Restoration Foundation team in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park Visitor Center auditorium for an insightful presentation on coral science and the restoration efforts in the Florida Keys. This event is free with regular park admission. Located at mile marker 102.5.
Teams of up to four anglers will compete for top prizes based on the total combined weight of their three best fish. If up to 25 boats register, the first prize cash winnings can reach $25,000. The tournament activities will take place at the Islamorada Fishing Club.
Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to join the Sunken Treasures youth program at the History & Discovery Center. Participants will learn about actual shipwrecks, some laden with treasure, discovered in the waters around the Florida Keys. Parents must call or email to register their children in advance.
