More than 100 Special Olympics athletes\, coaches\, families\, and fans are expected to take part in this must-attend event. \n\nFriday October 13\, 2017-  Athletes Reception at Lucy’s Retired Surfer Bar and Restaurant on Grinnell Street in Old Town Key West.\n\n4 pm- 7 pm– Check In/Packet Pick Up Open- Get registered to race\, purchase dinner and raffle tickets\, meet our awesome Special Olympics atheltes\, Taco Bar Buffet available. \nSpecial Olympics teams can Jump on a Historic Tours of America Trolley for a tour of Old Key West and MORE! Pick up and drop off locations and times to be announced. \n\nSaturday October 14 \, 2017- Higgs Beach\, \n\n1pm- 3 pm- #ChooseToInclude Unified Relay Races\nTeams of 3\, made up of two Special Olympics paddlers and one traditional paddler. Race registration of $25 includes a T-shirt and instructional clinic about Unified Sports in Special Olympics. DESCRIPTION:Florida Keys Healthy Start Coalition is excited to announce our newest program\, in partnership with the Key West Art & Historical Society:  \nLittles on the Lighthouse Lawn. \nFamilies are invited to come enjoy playing on the beautiful lighthouse lawn and develop friendships with other local children and parents. \n                            Meets the 2nd Saturday morning of the month from 10 – 11:30 am \n                            Is open to any family with children ages 0-5  \n                            Coffee is provided and families are encouraged to bring a snack  and blanket \nThe program will run October-May of the year\, avoiding the hottest months. Each meeting will open with songs and stories\, we will then have free play with fun toys provided and lots of time for parents and children to socialize \nThe program is free for KWAHS members and $5/family for non-members. DESCRIPTION:The Humphrey Bogart Film Festival is to screen a rotating selection of Bogie classics and a group of movies celebrating the life and films of the man the American Film Institute named “America’s greatest male screen legend.” The festival\, hosted by the screen legend’s son\, Stephen Bogart\, is the only event of its kind\, and is backed by the Bogart Estate. The 2017 theme is scheduled to celebrate the 75th anniversary of ‘Casablanca.’ \n \nThere are only two event locations this year. Those locations are Tavernier Cinemas and the Playa Largo hotel. All movies are screened at Tavernier Cinemas. The ONLY exceptions are the three outdoor screenings and the Saturday night screening of Casablanca. Those four screenings take place at the Playa Largo hotel. All special events (presentations\, discussions\, cocktail parties\, contests\, brunch\, dinner\, outdoor screenings) take place at the Playa Largo hotel. Each cocktail party will feature our complimentary Bogart's gin and vodka.
