Each day has a different starting point\, so make sure to check the daily schedule! \nDay 1: "Starting at the Southernmost Beach Pier we’ll weave through the southernmost neighborhood pointing out historic landmarks and end up at the Bahama Village pool for a snack and a dip. We’ll stay for an hour and play on the playground and move further into the “village” with a stop at The COAST Outpost for lunch and t-shirt printing. From there\, we’ll walk down to the old military lookouts behind the village and end at the Truman Waterfront for tree climbing\, games and the new splash park!" We’ll have a snack at Glazed Donuts and continue down towards the harbor for a dip in the water at Simonton Street Beach and a schooner tour. Then onwards to Bill Butler Park for tree and fruit identification. Then we’ll trek into Fort Zach and head to the “secret beach” where kids will have the opportunity to explore the water’s edge\, beachcomb\, and cool off with swimming and snorkeling\, while we offer some integrated lessons on the local wildlife. From there\, we’ll head inside the Eco Discovery Center for interactive lessons on the local marine life and ecosystems and a short film about growing up on the water in the Keys. From there\, we’ll have a sandcastle building competition\, lunch under the pines and plenty of time in the water as the day heats up!
