DESCRIPTION:Join for a Rum-Infused Adult Scavenger Hunt!\nThis event will raise funds to provide bus transportation for Monroe County K-12 students for educational field trips to the Garden during the 2024-2025 school year. All ticket sales and donations will support this transportation fund.\nThe scavenger hunts are essential for fostering community engagement\, environmental awareness\, and outdoor enjoyment among students\, potentially guiding them towards careers in botanical\, biological\, and environmental sciences. \nThe "Rum Infused" Scavenger Hunt is a fun way for adults to explore the Garden and its wildlife. \nTeams will compete to identify the most items within an hour. \nThe first 30 participants to register and complete the hunt will receive a bottle of local rum. There will also be a silent auction\, raffle\, and costume contest for the best pirate and mermaid outfits. \nSchedule: \n\n6:00 PM: Cocktails and scavenger hunt rules\n6:30-7:30 PM: Scavenger hunt through The Garden\n7:30-8:30 PM: Buffet dinner by Outback Steakhouse\n8:30 PM: Costume contest and scavenger hunt awards\n7:00-10:00 PM: Music by John Bartus\, featuring a tribute to Jimmy Buffett and Keys Life\n\nSponsors: \n\nJohn Bartus\, local musician\nOutback Steakhouse\nKey West First Legal Rum\n\nTickets are $100 per person\, including an open bar and dinner.
