DESCRIPTION:The Florida Keys Council of the Arts presents "The Connections Project: Making Music in the Keys"  at the Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce Event Grounds in Big Pine Key.\nThe event will feature complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages sponsored by local businesses. This year\, in addition to showcasing canvases from local artists\, the focus will be on Musicians of the Keys. \nThe reception will include performances by local musicians Brian Roberts and the Mike Bailey Trio in a Nashville-style writers’ round. \nAttendees can also view 58 unique canvases on display and have the opportunity to take one home by donating $100. \nProceeds from the event benefit Keys artists and arts organizations through Arts Council grants.
