Heritage Awareness Diving Seminar

CALLING ALL SCUBA TRAINING AGENCY COURSE DIRECTORS, INSTRUCTOR TRAINERS, DIVE STUDENTS, & HERITAGE PROFESSIONALS

This seminar is intended to explain the advantages of conserving shipwrecks and other submerged cultural resources. They help preserve the information about our past as well as preserve the vibrant ecosystems that grow in and around the wrecks.

The in field training includes:

• SCUBA dives on two historic shipwrecks
• Direct experience relating to the lectures

Course Schedule:

• 6/14 - Classroom based learning at the Custom House
• 6/15 - Classroom based learning at the Custom House
• 6/16 - In-field, Dive Training
