offers a safe open water event spanning 12.5 miles.

Starting at Higgs Beach, swimmers navigate through various points including the Key West Harbor, Fleming Key Channel, Sigsbee, and Cow Key Bridge, before finishing back at Higgs Beach.

The College of the Florida Keys has been organizing this race since 1986, ensuring safety with lifeguards and safety boat rescue crews stationed along the course, overseen by the Power Squadron.
