Sloppy Joe's 38th Annual Hemingway Look Alike Contest

This contest is 3 days long and celebrates the life of Ernest Hemingway.

Wednesday, July 18th:

• 5:30pm - Meet the "papas" at Sloppy Joes

Thursday July 19th:

• 5pm - Check in for Thursday night contestants
• 6pm - Scholarship presentation
• 6:30pm - Preliminary round 1 of the Look-Alike Contest

Friday, July 20th:

• 5pm - Check in for Friday night contestants
• 6:30pm - Preliminary round 2

Saturday, July 21st: Finals

• 12pm - Get your picture with the look-Alike Contestants
• 1pm - 20th Annual Running of the Bulls
• 6:30pm - Look-Alike Finale where Papa 2018 will be announced
• After the finals, the party fills the streets with a Street fair on Duval that includes food, entertainment, and fun for everyone!

Sunday, July 22nd:

• 10am - Bloody Mary's with Papa
• 10am - Annual Arm Wrestling Contest (same day registration)
  • Womens competition has 2 weight divisions - up to and over 129 lbs
  • Men's competition has 5 weight divisions - up to 149 lbs, 150 - 169 lbs, 170-189 lbs, 190 - 215 lbs, and 217+ lbs
  • $5 entry fee
