2018 Swim Around Key West

The ONLY sanctioned, insured, and US Coast Guard permitted race around Key West!

Check in: 7:30 am-8:15 am

Race begins: 8:30 am SHARP

The race is a 12.5 mile journey around the pristine island of Key West.

The swim takes place in TWO oceans with a lot of possible aquatic life spottings.

*All safety crew boats will be flying pirate flags and lifeguards are positioned throughout the course.

Solo and team categories are available.

**EVERY swimmer/team must have their own escort in the form of a kayak or motor boat

OPEN WATER

• 800 yd, 1 & 2 mile SWIM or compete in all 3 and 10K (6/2 mile)
• Check in: 8-8:20 am
• Start times
  • 8:30 am for 10k and 800 yd
  • 1 mile starts 10 mins after completion of 800 yd
    • 2 mile starts 10 minutes after completion of 1 mile
• Age groups: 8&U, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
